Cartoon Network and DC Entertainment have released the episode description, 13 images and 1 preview clip for "Summit", the upcoming new episode of the "Young Justice: Invasion" animated series.

The Light calls a summit to decide the final fate of Aqualad, the team... and the entire planet Earth!

Picking up on the status of our missing heroes after Blue Beetle's betrayal two episodes back, "The Hunt" reveals that yes, Arsenal remains at large and on the run onboard the Warworld -- a "loose end," as the Reach ambassador calls him. But a pretty cool and kick-ass loose end at that, able to outrun and outgun a bevy of henchman all on his own and behind enemy lines for days.

The idea of Arsenal redeeming himself and saving everyone is appealing, particularly with the lingering thought (in my mind at least) that he was somehow now working for Lex Luthor after he was given his new arm by the criminal mastermind. And of course, after he basically does rescue the missing team members he gets bawled out by Bumblebee and basically fired by Nightwing! Can't we all just get along?

(And yes, I know Arsenal totally went PTSD on everyone when he opened that airlock in "War," but still, shouldn't the team offer some kind of health benefits or mental-health services for members who've been kidnapped and put in stasis for years, only to awaken and find out they're missing an arm and have been replaced by a clone that's all grown up now? Just saying.)

Meanwhile, Lex put his new team into action, seemingly to save the good guys. Which works better than having Virgil, Sam, Tye and Ed just suddenly doing "bad things" for a "bad guy," as is the way the comic-book world too often works. Even I was fooled for a moment, in fact, into thinking that Lex really did want to save Superboy and the rest (if only for the selfish purpose of freeing them to fight the Reach). But of course there was more to it than that, as we saw when Deathstroke snuck onto Warworld to steal the crystal key. That'll do, Lex. That'll do.
